Xavier Sans Fortuny has studied conducting with professors Josep Prats, Laszlo Heltay, Johann Duijck and Pierre Cao, analysis and composition with Benet Casablancas and Josep Soler, and edge with Dolors Aldea, Jerzy Artysz and Carmen Bustamante.
Has been director of the Youth Singers choir of Tarragona, the Voxalba choir, the Sant Jordi Choral. Currently, he is conductor invited in the Conservatori or Girona Chamber choir, the Youth Singers choir of the Orfeó Català, and deputy conductor of the Palau chamber choir, the Tarragona city choir and the Saint Esteve Viladrau choir.
He is also a professor of harmonía, counterpoint and analysis at the Conservatoire of Viladrau, and it is part of the academic staff of choral direcion courses of the Catalan federation of choirs
His experience such as a singer is centered, mostly, in the share in several professional chamber groups, the Palau de la Música chamber choir (Barcelona), Capella of St Maria's del Mar (Barcelona), Arsys-Bourgogne, Accentus, Them Éléments, Ensemble Jacques Moderne, Cheers up and Corpo Ensemble, The Xantria and The Capella Reial of Catalonia directed by Jordi Savall.
With some of these education has participated in several recordings.

Èric Varas (Barcelona, 1996) graduated on Classical Piano with an honourable mention from the Conservatori Municipal de Música de Barcelona (Municipal Conservatory of Barcelona) under the tutelage of Maria Rosa Ribas and Jordi Vilaprinyó. He continued his studies in ESMUC (Catalonia College of Music), where he took lessons from Jean-François Dichamp. On 2019, he began studying Conducting in the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität Wien (Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna) with Professor Andreas Stoehr.
In the field of vocal accompaniment, he has taken lessons from Alan Branch, Francisco Poyato, Josep Surinyac, Simon Lepper, Malcolm Martineau, Wolfram Rieger and Julius Drake. He works as the pianist and the assistant conductor of the choirs ACTEA (CMMB) and Novaria (Palau de la Música Catalana). He also collaborates with the Neemrana Music Choir in New Delhi (India). As a vocal accompanist, he performs regularly through Catalonia, Spain and Europe.
He has been part of festivals such as the Life Victoria (Tast de Lied, Life New Artists, Life Piano) and the Schubertíada Vilabertran (II Acadèmia de la Schubertíada).
Currently, he is a student of Humanities in UOC (Open University of Catalonia).
